Teatro Gioco Vita, une des premiers protagonistes du mouvement pour l’animation théâtrale en Italie, est né en 1971 et a su, grâce à cette expérience, donner une contribution originale à la naissance du théâtre pour jeunes. Sa façon originale de faire, de comprendre et de vivre le théâtre, les relations, la recherche et la culture l’ont marqué dès ses premières expériences. Teatro Gioco Vita se lance dans le théâtre d’ombre à la fin des années soixante-dix. Sa cohérence, sa conscience professionnelle et sa contribution avec des collaborateurs externes lui ont permis de faire des expériences uniques en leur genre et lui ont valu de nombreuses reconnaissances et de précieuses collaborations avec des théâtres et des organismes lyriques dans le monde entier avec par exemple: le Teatro La Fenice de Venise, le Royal Opera House Covent Garden de Londres, le Teatro alla Scala de Milan, l’Arena de Vérone, l’Ater, l’Ert, le Teatro dell’Opera de Rome, le Teatro Regio de Turin et le Piccolo Teatro de Milan. Sous la direction artistique de Diego Maj, l’activité du Teatro Gioco Vita est désormais articulé en différentes directions de travail. La Compagnie d’ombres est engagée dans la production de spectacles et aussi dans des créations d’ateliers pour les écoles, les jeunes et les professionnelles. L’atelier Officina delle Ombre est le lieu de production et de recherche de la Compagnie. Les théâtres à Piacenza – Teatro Filodrammatici, Teatro Municipale et Teatro Gioia – sont une seule, grande maison dans laquelle sont expérimentés et organisés saisons théâtrales, échanges culturels et parcours pour la recherche artistiques de la Compagnie et l’activités culturels sur le territoire. Teatro Gioco Vita soutient l’activité sur le territoire de Piacenza et du département (direction artistique et organisationnelle de la Saison de Prose du Teatro Municipale de Piacenza, organisation de festivals de théâtre et autres événements culturels, accueil, atelier, formation) de dimension toujours plus internationale Teatro Gioco Vita a donné ses représentations théâtrales d’ombre, en Europe, aux Etats Unis, au Brésil, au Mexique, au Canada, au Japon, en Chine, en Israël, à Taïwan, en Turquie, en Jordanie et en Sénégal.
Teatro Gioco Vita was established in 1971 and was among the first Italian realities to be protagonist of the movement of theatrical animation. Teatro Gioco Vita gave its original contribution to the theatre for young people, through its animation, its distinct flair and its way of conceiving and living the theatre, the relationships, the research and the culture that characterized it from its very first experiences. Teatro Gioco Vita meets the shadow theatre in the late seventies. Thanks to its work done with consistency and professionalism and also to the contribute of outside collaborators, it completed an experience, unique in its kind, that got him awards and prestigious collaborations everywhere in the world, with permanent theatres and lyric companies such as the Teatro La Fenice of Venice, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden of London, the Teatro alla Scala of Milan, the Arena of Verona, the Ater, the Ert, the Teatro all’Opera of Rome, the Teatro Regio of Turin and the Piccolo Teatro of Milan. Managed by the artistic director Diego Maj, the theatre is composed of various realities. The Shadow Theatre Company is involved in the production of plays as well as in laboratory activities for schools, children and professional. The workshop Officina delle Ombre hosts the productions and the research by Teatro Gioco Vita. The theatres in Piacenza (Teatro Filodrammatici, Teatro Municipale and Teatro Gioia) are a big house where to experiment and share theatrical reviews, hospitality, cultural exchanges, places where to achieve artistic and cultural projects for the company’s research and the work in place. Teatro Gioco Vita combines its activity in Piacenza and the province (artistic and organizing direction of the Stagione di Prosa from the Teatro Municipale of Piacenza, organization of theatrical reviews and other cultural events, hospitality, workshops, and training) to an increasingly international dimension that led its shadow theatre shows to be performed in Europe, the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Japan, China, Israel, Taiwan, Turkey, Jordan and Sengal.
